And Tradition TOPAN Pendant VP6
Sometimes the simplest things are the most enduring and memorable, the Topan Pendant being a shining example. It was Verner Panton’s first mass-produced lamp, later followed by the FlowerPot. Topan’s simplicity and coolness prove their worth lasting. Topan was originally designed for the Astoria hotel and restaurant in Trondheim, Norway in 1960. Here, Panton used his Geometry I to IV textile markings for the floors, walls and ceilings to give the room a uniform image. Topan pendants hung throughout, dividing large rooms into smaller, more intimate spaces.
