w171 Alma is a collection of lamps designed by Tham & Videgård and produced by the Wästberg brand. Behind the seemingly simple curves lies true craftsmanship, using artfully formed aluminum to capture smooth waves. The matte satin finish makes w171 Alma intriguing even during the day, with its concentric circles of shadow and light. An additional raw aluminum finish is introduced in 2024. With its slim proportions, w171 Alma takes up little visual space, making it an ideal lighting solution for areas with low ceilings. Suspended from the ceiling, it performs beautifully both alone and in groups, even to create an entire floating ceiling of light.
