FLAT 5945 – green

Flat is a table lamp designed by the Japanese designer Ichiro Iwasaki for the Vibia brand, with multiple functions in which matter and light merge into a single object. The Flat collection presents different planes of light which transform into self-illuminated supports as they ascend. The Flat table lamp is available with a compact disc or a flat support surface that also acts as a piece of furniture of small proportions, thanks to which it acquires an intimate and human sensitivity. The light, reflected downwards, creates a soft luminescence on the surface on which the lamp rests. The strong straight lines and soft curves, typical of a treatise on applied geometry, create layers of light that exude sculptural elegance.
