FUNIVIA SHARPING Module 12 62° 3000K APP – black
Funivia is a metal track lighting system, designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and produced by the Artemide brand. Cableway is a functional network of relationships, material and immaterial, free and inclusive, capable of evolving through the cooperation of its elements. A rope, the cable that carries energy, and nails, the fixing elements in space, are the basis with which to go far, overcome the limits given by the rigidity of the systems. The cable, with a special minimal section but capable of supporting mechanical tensions and thermal stress, is the distribution channel of the system’s energy and the load-bearing element on which the light elements are connected and runs seamlessly in space, overcoming the limits of the three dimensions. The light elements are hooked onto the cable thanks to a “bridge” element, a sort of power-stealing padlock that mechanically fixes the device and takes the energy from the cable to power it. Funivia breaks a pattern common to existing lighting systems, moving away from the rigidity of fixed modules (in space, in stock, in production).
