Designed by Marcel Wanders and Studio Marcel Wanders, the Skynest Suspension by Flos is a pendant lamp that stands out for its innovative and sustainable design. The dome, made of bright and blind elements woven into a mesh, is made of recycled and recyclable fabric derived from polyester. Each light module is covered with a two-tone mesh that optimizes the emission of light, ensuring a homogeneous and welcoming light diffusion. The lamp is equipped with an integrated balancing system that ensures the stability of the dome, while an aluminum ring at the bottom holds the entire mesh structure in place. Assembled without the use of glue, the Skynest Suspension can be completely disassembled to facilitate recycling and any repairs or replacements, making it an example of eco-friendly design.
