For the 10th anniversary of the w127 Winkel, designed by Dirk Winkel, Wästberg presents the w227 Winkel alu: “the evolution of our best-selling work lamp, which takes its bold design to a new level, has been completely redesigned with a goal clear: achieve more with less”. Now based on aluminium, this next-generation task light uses much less material and features new profiles and thinner arm joints, an extended range of motion and evolved lighting technology. With its unique and exceptional performance, w227 Winkel alu truly redefines cutting-edge, high-end task lighting. w227 Winkel alu is available with a raw tumbled aluminum finish, without the addition of protective coatings or treatments. This enables resource-efficient production, easier recycling and a harmonious aging process. From the start, its naturally textured surface has a rich, tactile depth, with any marks from the manufacturing process only adding to its character. Over time, smudges, fingerprints and oxidation will evolve into a beautiful and distinctive patina.
