w241 FARO – grey white
On the one hand w241 Faro, designed by David Chipperfield for the Wästberg brand, is a welcoming beacon, its delicate, low glow emphasized by its formal integrity and balanced proportions. On the other hand, it is a technically superior hybrid lamp, which combines qualitative light with smooth and compact portability. Thanks to a carefully designed charging solution – without compromising on aesthetics, functionality or performance – the w241 Faro moves fluidly between various environments, from the dining table to the outdoor terrace. The top disc is an integrated adjustment wheel and switch, allowing for a seamless transition from a bright, cozy light to a quieter, more intimate glow. Fully charged, the w241 Faro’s battery lasts 7.5-20 hours, depending on the light level you choose. Once the power cord is connected, it charges within 4 hours. Made of die-cast aluminum, the w241 Faro is available in five painted color finishes, as well as a tumbled raw aluminum finish. The color range comes from the small port of Corrubedo in Spain. The port is also home to David Chipperfield’s Bar do Porto, which features the same color palette. A highly capable indoor lamp, yet portable when you need it. The w241 Faro’s hybrid aesthetics and performance are designed to impress, both with and without a power cord. Its IP54 rating makes it resistant to dust and water, making it an ideal companion in the garden and patio.
